MY FIRST GLOSSYBOX REVIEW

I think this is the June Glossybox but since I ordered it halfway through June and it didn't arrive until last week, it seems pretty silly to call it the June Glossybox review. Here's hoping July's comes early enough for me to properly review it!

I'd been thinking about signing up for Glossybox/Birchbox as a way for me to stop spending so much money on beauty products. I figured that being sent 5 new and exciting products a month would be enough for my makeup/skincare crazed self! I haven't signed up for Birchbox yet, I'm going to see how I get on with Glossybox.

The first thing I noticed was how beautifully packaged it was. Unfortunately, I broke the blogger rule and tore into it before I could photograph it. I tried my best to recreate how it was packaged though! Maybe next time I'll get a picture before I dive into it.

I received a cute little 'Welcome' card which was adorable, alongside a couple of other little cards, 2 of which were discount cards for a smoothie company and a clothing company. The final little card is for the products inside, it tells you about them, how much they are and where you can buy them from! So, let's move onto the actual products.

STARSKIN EYE CATCHER

Soaked in vitamin rich serum, these super hydrating eye masks make quick work to reducing puffiness and dark circles, leaving you looking bright-eyed and more rejuvinated.

I haven't used these yet but I'm quite excited to! I get bad bags under my eyes, so I'm just waiting for the right opportunity to use these!

DE BRUYERE AFTER SUN LOTION

For skin that feels a little sensitive after a day in the sun or to simply help prolong your summer tan, this after sun lotion has you covered.

Having recently returned from Italy, I think this will come in handy. I do not want my tan to fade, so much so that I am using a gradual tanner to ensure I stay tanned!

LADIVAL SUN PROTECTION SPRAY

This product probably won't come in handy since my holiday has been and gone but I suppose if we ever get a warm day in Scotland (unlikely) I can just pop this on and I'll be good to go!

EMITE MAKEUP LIP & CHEEK TINT

I'm not really one for cheek tints, I always get it wrong and end up looking like a weird clown/doll thing. I think this will get used more as a lip tint - it's a gorgeous red colour but it's not too strong on the lips.

KONJAC SPONGE

This is apparently the latest cleansing trend from Japan and Korea. As you can see, I already opened the packaging - I was way too intrigued by this little thing to let it go unopened! I haven't used it yet but it claims to be more gentle than a scrub but it leaves skin clean and soft. I'm looking forward to giving this weird little thing a try, I hope it works as well as it says!

BONUS - AUSSIE 3 MINUTE MIRACLE RECONSTRUCTOR

I love a good deep conditioning hair mask - since going blonde my hair hasn't been in the best condition so I'm looking forward to using this and having nice healthy hair again!

So that's all I got in my Glossybox this month, so far I'm impressed and the majority of these items will get used! I'm really looking forward to the next Glossybox!
